Menasha is centrally located in the Fox Cities and on the northwest shore of Lake Winnebago. The City of Menasha is located in both Calumet and Winnebago counties with 15,144 residents living in Winnebago County.

Around the city there are a handful of parks to explore that occupy a total of 200 acres of green space. These parks offer a mix of soccer fields, playground equipment, ball diamonds, tennis courts, and more. Wherever you are in Menasha, there’s bound to be a park nearby. If you’d rather be on the water, you’re going to love living in Menasha. On the west side of the city is Little Lake Butte Des Morts. At a not-so-little 1,200 acres, this lake offers a great opportunity to catch Catfish, Musky, and Sturgeon. There’s also the common variety of fish like Panfish, Bass, and Pike. It’s a great lake for fishing and boating alike. On the east side of the city is Lake Winnebago. Sitting at a whopping 131,939 acres, it is the largest lake in Wisconsin and the 28th largest lake in the country. The lake is a great place to fish for Panfish, Walleye, Sturgeon, and Catfish as they are abundant in the area. The lake’s sheer size makes it a great place for water activities of any kind.

Downtown Menasha is full of things to explore. Walk along the beautiful waterfront and take the Friendship Trail over the beautiful Little Lake Butte Des Morts.
